IN-CORE SERVICES AND RESEARCH
The IN-CORE team provides support and consultation services for community resilience planning, FEMA BRIC Grants, CDRZ-designated communities, and IN-CORE Web Application. Additionally, IN-CORE provides support for research and those contributing to new developments within the platform.
TO REGISTER FOR AN ACCOUNT
IN-CORE is publicly available and includes IN-CORE Lab, a customized Jupyter Lab with Python libraries installed and hosted on a cloud system provided by the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA). The service requires a user account provided and operated by the NCSA identity management system.
Registering for an account is free and open to everyone. This account gives you access to all of the public data on the system and allows you to create data that is only accessible by you.
RECOMMENDATIONS
To perform damage analysis for natural hazards, such as earthquake, tornado and flood hazards, IN-CORE recommends:
- Basic Python knowledge (or programming knowledge)
- IN-CORE account
- Familiarity with Jupyter notebooks
